It’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged a maternity session…so here we go!
This gorgeous winter maternity session was shot in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This gorgeous mom was published not once, but TWICE, in the January Motherhood Edition of Prestige Models Magazine. It was my first time shooting in this field, and I think it’s safe to say, it won’t be my last. What an epic backdrop. I’m still swooning over this momma’s dress – that color, brilliant on her. It’s no secret that I LOVE color, RICH color…it’s become so signature to my brand, I’ve heard myself referenced as “the colorful photographer”. I’ve been at this photography gig for over a half decade now, and I regret not discovering/pursuing this profession earlier in my life. This past half decade has come with so many highs and lows, but when you find “your calling” or what your meant to do in life, persevering through the lows holds deeper value. Becoming an entrepreneur is not a “safe and cozy” feeling. Far from it. It’s moved me out of my comfort zone, into a daring, adventurous, and turbulent zone. The growing pains, at times, have been very, very hard…but that is where radical growth happens. It’s a process of evolution and I will continue to evolve. I’m ready to tackle 2021. How about you?
